Prot: God created the universe from nothing. Thats what Ive been saying.
Sin: Why does the universe need a creator when God doesn't?
Prot: Because the universe was CREATED by God.
Sin: If God can exists without a creator then why can't the universe?
Prot: Because the universe was CREATED.
Sin: ...
Prot: The universe needs a creator because it was created. How hard is that? The universe can't exist without a creator because it was created.
You have to admire the circular logic.

Your Sinfulness,
An eternal cosmos, as Aristotle understood, does not require a Creator God. The term "creation" implies a "Creator", and thus can lead to a logical fallacy. The question must first be put and answered, either philosophically or empirically, "was the universe created out of nothing, or did it always exist?" If we come to the conclusion that the universe cannot explain itself, then one can conclude, there must be a Creator. It still would need some form of verification, since to think a thought does not prove the existence of an object corresponding to that thought. I can think pink elephants on Mars, must they therefore exist?

Unfortunately, as Sacred Scripture reports, "God rains his rain on the good and the bad."
How many great sinners and apostates died peacefully in their beds, while sdaints and goodmen suffered horrible deaths. what of the good souls who pray for a cure and die anyway.

To the "anonymous" individual who continues to post comments without any thought of their own on the subject:
I will delete your comments if you do not comment on the subject matter at hand. This particular blog entry had absolutely nothing to do with prayer -- and you still haven't responded to my response back and the scientific study supporting my theory on prayer. Your comments will continually be deleted until you are able to respond and/or comment on the subject of said particular blog.
