Prot: You're interpretation of that Biblical passage is wrong.

Sin: By what authority do you make such a claim?

Prot: Because I have the Holy Spirit -- which is the Spirit of Truth. Therefore I interpret scripture correctly.

Sin: What if I claimed to also possess this Holy Spirit?

Prot: You do not. If you did, you would interpret scripture the way I do.

Sin: ...

Prot: I interpret scripture correctly because I have the Holy Spirit. I have the Holy Spirit therefore I interpret scripture correctly. What don't you understand about this?
